Coherent hodgepodge – that's how I would describe the design of this loft. Together with SKULL STUDIO we designed this loft freely but carefully. The canvas was there – brutal aesthetics of the old factory was intended to preserve, enhance and use as a part of the design from the beginning. Secondly, it comes the story. The loft was made for a purpose of a show flat, therefore our client was an abstract figure. Our man became a globetrotter. We made him to appreciate the iconic architectural and design creators and their masterpieces, together with a big love for cars – who else should own the flat with a garage right next to its window.
Thirdly we designed bespoke furniture in which we tried to accompany the masterpieces and the generous space we've got. To add some nowness and also originality, my fellow colleagues created few art pieces they made specifically for this loft.
